Join the High Peaks Birders for our second birding stroll of the spring on Saturday, May 28th at Cane River Park. We will meet at 9am in the main parking lot near the kiosk. Last month we found 36 species of birds in about one and one half hours. This month we expect to find many mated pairs, nest building, and with luck a few fledglings. Bring binoculars, and dress for the weather. We will go rain or shine if at all possible. All skill levels from beginner to expert are welcome. For more information call 828 682-3733. As always this event is free of charge.
