Join the High Peaks Birders for our fourth birding stroll of the year on Friday, July 29th at Cane River Park. We will meet at 6pm in the main parking lot near the kiosk and walk along the fields and into the woods by the river. With the 6pm start this month birders will be able to observe early evening bird behavior. Are they resting, feeding, what species are out there and what are they eating? Bring binoculars, and dress for the weather. We will go rain or shine if at all possible. All skill levels from beginner to expert are welcome. For more information call 828-682-3733. As always this event is free and open to the public.
