Bird-Watching Stroll Sun, May 25

Join the High Peaks Trail Association for a birding stroll at Cane River Park on May 25. This park offers the opportunity to see a wide variety of species, including mammals, so bring binoculars if you have them and even an extra pair to share. Please dress for the weather – we’ll be going rain or shine.

Meet at the park near the kiosk in the main parking lot for the stroll, which begins at 6 p.m. We will explore four different habitats in off-the-beaten-path parts of the park, walking about one mile over the course of about 90 minutes to two hours.

All are welcome, beginners to expert birders. Because of the need for quiet, we ask that you not bring dogs. For more information, contact stroll leaders Laura and Bob at 682-3733.
