Grandfather Mountain State Park Community Trail Workday - Profile Trail - Saturday, June 24th, 2017 @ 9 am - 1 pm


Please join Tanawha Adventures and the Friends of the Mountains to Sea Trail (FMST) Volunteers and other experienced trail maintainers to help with trailwork at Grandfather Mountain State Park! We will be working on the lower Profile Trail.


No experience is required! FMST and Grandfather Mountain State Park will provide TOOLS and experienced CREW LEADERS. We'll be constructing steps, digging, raking, and cutting roots. There will be a job for everyone no matter what their experience level. The hike in will range from 0.5 to 2.0 miles. Bring a daypack with gloves, fluids, and snacks. Additional info will be sent to registered volunteers.
